Katie Lau is a queer sound engineer and musician based in Brooklyn, NY. She has released two EPs and two albums under the name Painted Zeros, her band and recording project where she performs, records, and mixes every instrument. Her most recent full-length album was "When You Found Forever", released on Don Giovanni Records in May 2020. Katie also works as an engineer in various music venues across NYC, and has toured internationally mixing live concerts. In addition to music, she has a deep interest in community organizing and social justice, biking, and spending time outside in nature.
