Born in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil in 1989, moved to South Florida as a child, from a secure but strongly conservative life in rural Brazil to be allowed the educational and cultural opportunities of the states with the uncertainties of immigrant status here as well. As an immigrant in Florida, they primarily worked as a nanny and gravitated to art handling, production, painting, and poetry in Miami. Having performed improvised street poetry in multiple cities domestic and international, and written for The Last Bookstore, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center/University of Miami Health Systems, Ippolita, Miami Zine Fair and Pérez Art Museum Miami. Embedded in a community of artists and art enthusiasts from all walks of life, cultures, and nationalities they keep a light mind and open eye toward inspiration, they have adopted multimedia platforms of performance, painting, poetry, puppetry, noise, photography, and installation in their art.
